Project Summary
Commercial Restroom Partitions was contracted by Pulte Homes to install restroom partitions in the Stonehaven Subdivision in Boerne, TX. Consisting of 50+ homes, the subdivision also features a community pool center that serves residents and guests who like to swim.
Turning Competition into Cooperation
Ironically, the general contractor on the project was a major competitor of our organization. Like us, this organization specializes in selling commercial bathroom fixtures and accessories. Interestingly, however, they do not sell restroom partitions. This left Pulte with a need to find a bathroom partition vendor who would respect their relationship with their existing vendor without attempting to up sell them on other products. Finding an installer was something of a concern, as the installer would have to work well with the builder and restroom supplies vendor.
Policy on Contracting
Commercial Restroom Partitions was chosen for the project because we have a strict policy of non-compete in situations such as these. In addition to our role as a product supplier, we also perform turnkey installations throughout the state of Texas. As such, it is not uncommon for us to contract under the invoice of another supply company that competes with us as a supplier. Our view on this matter is simple: project requirements supersede personal interest.
Project Details
We installed solid plastic partitions in the men’s and the women’s restrooms. The men’s restroom, when completed, had 1 stall separated from 1 urinal by a privacy screen.
